Review of Accomplishments
The Friends of the PGH held their monthly meetings updating the members of their latest accomplishments. Among these accomplishments included the donation of wheelchairs to the orthopedics center; suction machines for those who are fed in tubes; blankets for the Rehabilitation ward; maintenance medications for the indigent patients and provision of allowance to the eight volunteer teachers to cancer patients in the children’s ward.

Celebrating 33rd Anniversary of FPGH
Another Anniversary milestone of the Friends of PGH was celebrated with a mass by Fr. Dennis, followed by a talk from Dr. Legaspi, Director of Philippine General Hospital. Dr. Lagaspi updated the members of the new projects and initiatives of PGH to which the Friends of PGH can contribute. Then Dr. Legaspi did the honour of inducting five new members, followed by lunch at the Last Chukker, Manila Polo Club

Christmas Gift-Giving
The annual Christmas gift-giving activity of the FPGH took place on December 5 2017. The members came with bags of goodies which they distributed to the indigent patients of Wards 5, 10 and 11. The members also brought cheers to children patients with cancer at the cancer ward of the Philippine General Hospital.

Christmas Gift-Giving
The annual Christmas giving to the indigents patients of PGH took place on December 6 2018. The Friends of PGH members gathered together to bring cheers to around 300 indigent cancer patients plus variously sick patients in five wards. The members distributed bags of goodies containing food, toiletries, drinks, etc. It was another successful, meaningful and fulfilling FPGH activity to cap the year end.
