The Friends of the PGH

The FPGH offers the following services:

- Provide regular funding of 50,000 Pesos per month to the PGH Pharmacy to buy medicine for patients of the emergency and other wards who cannot afford to purchase their prescribed medication.

- Make referrals of indigent patients to appropriate doctors and hospital services and facilitate access to emergency medical services, crucial diagnostic tests, prescription drugs and equipment, life-saving medical surgeries, treatments and procedures and post-hospital care

- Undertake periodic survey of health care needs of different departments and wards to serve as basis for the fund-raising campaign of FPGH and drawing up of appropriate donations to these wards.

- Based on the expressed needs of the departments and wards, assist in the acquisition of medical, laboratory and other hospital facilities, equipment and supplies for the improvement of the quality of health services provided to indigent patients.

- Provide shunts for hydrocephalus patients

- Distribute Christmas packages during the holiday season and gifts during special events.

- Distribute toys and books to the children or the pediatrics ward

- Undertake hospital visitation and feeding programme

- Provide funds to support the treatment programmes of PGH like Anti-Covid treatment programme, hydrocephalus programme, pediatric cancer treatment, etc.

-  Provide affordable furnishing such as ceiling fans for the wards and mono block chairs, etc.
